Members of Pacifica, who, as custodians of the Joseph Campbell Library, offered me access to Campbell’s original writings with a view to my developing and integrating Campbell’s ideas into a new work, which it is intended, will incorporate also some of the original ideas of Carl Jung, as well as those of Oliver Sacks.
I revered stillness and sensed a strong connection with nature, I also loved to explore wildlife and the deeper mysteries of the cosmos—where I would drift into a heightened state of consciousness

In Spring 2009, I attended a course taught by Professor Richard Tarnas at the California Institute of Integrated Studies, San Francisco. Rick had, teamed up with comic actor and writer John Cleese, to teach a groundbreaking and often humorous series of lectures based on comedy’s capacity to express powerful archetypal impulses.

MYSTICAL NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES
Therapeutic potential of psychedelics — Rick Strassman, Prof. of Psychiatry at Univ.of New Mexico, has written about ‘DMT — the Spirit Molecule.’ He also wrote: ‘DMT and the Soul of Prophecy’ where he suggested that the experiences with DMT most closely resemble the Old Testament model of prophecy. DMT is the active ingredient of ayahuasca.
